Our Founder
Dr. T G Chandramohan, a distinguished Animal Health Professional and Veterinarian with nearly five decades of industry experience, embarked on his journey in 1974 with Sarabhai Chemicals. He swiftly rose from the field sales to Head of Marketing and Sales Operations within six years. During his tenure, he was appointed as a member of the sole Animal Health market audit firm ORG, at that time.
In 1986, Alembic Pharmaceuticals invited Dr. Chandramohan to launch Veterinary Division. He launched and transformed this business from the ground zero to India’s 4th largest Animal Health company within four years, serving as Vice President.
His initiatives included establishing distinct divisions for Pharmaceuticals, Livestock and Poultry Feed Supplements, and Alembic Herbals. Under his leadership, company launched India’s first Amoxicillin-Cloxacillin Vet formulation and also forged partnerships with Ciba Geigy Bangladesh, for export of various products.
After dedicating three decades to build Sarabhai and Alembic, Dr. Chandramohan ventured into entrepreneurship in 1999-2000, launching Indo Biocare with inspiration from Mr. Ramesh Vangal, who brought Pepsi to India. The company introduced notable products from Elanco and Lohmann. In 2000, foreseeing the potential in the Pet Care segment Dr. Chandramohan established Scientific Remedies Pvt Ltd., introduced Hill’s and Beaphar to India along with Novartis Sutures. Leveraging his international connections, he co-founded Vibrant Remedies (India) Pvt Ltd., making Vibrant Remedies as co-owner of Dibaq Pets food and BioPet Active products in the Indian subcontinent, a unique feat globally. Dr. Chandramohan also initiated exclusive marketing agreements with three multinational companies in Pet food and Pet care segments, set to launch in 2023.
Dr. Chandramohan’s diversification into human healthcare includes managing Apollo Health & Lifestyle management Franchisee for past 12 years, overseen by his wife, a prominent Paediatrician. Furthermore, he established an R&D Centre in association with American Scientist at Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute of Cardiology and Neuroscience, investing approximately 12 Crores to create pioneering lab for compound functionality analysis by Using chambers. Dr. Chandramohan’s exceptional contributions extend beyond the Animal and Human Health. Over the years Dr. Chandramohan successfully forged pivotal global collaborations to bring progressive technologies and products to India immortalizing his name as one of the most influential leaders in the Indian Animal Healthcare fraternity.
Dr. Chandramohan has been awarded in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Animal Health in particular and Society in large, Lifetime Achievement Award by Indian Federation of Animal Health Companies (INFAH Award) in 2023.
